The main IT hubs in Finland are Helsinki, Espoo (with Big Data, cloud computing, and digital transformation being the main ICT sectors), Oulu (an Internet technologies hub), and Kotka—Hamina region (a game industry center).
Roughly 80% of job vacancies are concentrated in Helsinki, with another 15–18% accounting for other large cities such as Tampere, Turku, and Oulu. The remaining towns offer limited job opportunities to IT workers.
